This colorful frosted glass mug of Montauk Light was created using a hand-colored photo postcard from approximately 1890 and shows the beacon before it featured its red stripe day marks.
Montauk Light was the first lighthouse in the State of New York and is the 4th oldest lighthouse in the United States. It stands on the eastern tip of Long Island and projects a beam 18 nautical miles out to sea.
